Training is accomplished through our Voluntary Observer team. These volunteers come out with you, whilst you drive your car, (or ride beside you on their bike). At the end of each run you will receive a debrief and guidance on how to improve your driving or riding.

Between training runs you will want to practice your new skills ready for your next training run. All training runs are made at mutually convenient times of the day during daylight hours, however special night runs can be made to develop these essential driving skills.

We employ four Stationery Office (TSO) publications to help improve your driving or riding skills, they are:

Q.

What is the most dangerous thing about only having one front, or rear, light working?

A.The last remaining lamp may blow! Imagine. You are driving at speed and at night, down a dark twisting road. Only one of your headlamps is working. Just as you rise over that humped bridge that last bulb blows. Now, where does the road go???
